Cubase has high quality options available for time stretching and pitch correction and I do a lot of sampling (generally more loops and one shots I create / record). I use Cubase for all productions and am familiar with Logic and Live. I would like some suggestions of tools/features from some of the top DAW manufacturers besides Ableton. Which DAW do you think has the 'best tools' or feature set for sample based production.?
Do 'ALL' DAWs provide some kind of 'time stretching tool/algorithm' for editing/chopping and manipulating samples/sounds just like Ableton's warp.?Ģ. The problem was, it made me think ignorantly and made me feel that if I wanted to produce.that I should basically buy Ableton just for its 'warp' feature alone.Įventually.I came to my senses and am trying to find out what other DAWs have to offer in terms of tools/features for time stretching and editing/chopping samples.ġ.
Most of the results/videos/threads I got were from Ableton producers and therefore a lot of them touting Ableton's 'warp' feature as a very 'powerful' and great tool for sample based music production. When the thought of music production and sampling came to me.I did not know much about DAWs and basically googled anything and everything I could about sample editing/chopping/manipulation.
